Viewers learn to look at their homes with a fresh eye and make great ideas a reality. Each episode takes on a different home, where guest experts learn the owner's wishes and propose projects to improve the home's appearance. A "virtual makeover" then shows how to further increase the home's curb appeal.

about the host:

      Dan Schachner graduated from American University in Washington DC with a degree in Theatre and another in Film & Video, Dan moved back to New York in 1997 to pursue a career in television. For 4 years he was a segment producer, first for Discovery Channel and later MTV, using his free time at night to perform in actor showcases. By 1999 he was signed with a talent agent, after which his on-camera and voice-over career took off. By 2001 he left behind producing entirely to become a full-time actor. Prior to his current job as host of ÒCurb AppealÓ on HGTV. DanÕs TV roles included co-hosting on the Lifetime Network and leading the cast of the hidden-camera show ÒCrash TestÓ on Spike TV. In his spare time Dan is passionate about tearing apart and remodeling every last square inch of his Manhattan apartment.
