President Steve Edelman has
created, executive produced and hosted television shows
for over 20 years. Having started in Minneapolis ten years
ago, the company expanded to San Francisco in 1998 and
Washington, D.C. in 2004––Edelman now produces
series from all three locations.
Before starting his own company, Steve created programs for KSTP-TV, the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "Good Company," a daily afternoon show that Steve executive produced and hosted with his wife Sharon Anderson, became a Twin Cities institution, enjoying a twelve year run and dominant ratings.
Earlier in his career, Steve worked as a news anchorman and reporter in Columbus,
Ohio, and Seattle, Washington, and was host of a nationally syndicated
show, "The World of People."
Steve graduated from Yale University with a B.A in American Studies, and from
the Northwestern University School of Law with a Juris Doctor. His son recently
asked: "Why did you train to be a lawyer, Dad, and then go into television?" Lawyers,
of course, having experienced the real world of law, never ask. |
